  • 2009
    The efficiency of ASP 3”x 3” experimental module reached 13.29%.
  • 2010
    ASP built its pilot line in Janurary 2010. The efficiency of its experimental 6”x 6” module reached 12.58%. In the same year, a new 21,000㎡ factory was completed in Nov., 2010.
  • 2011
    The efficiency of ASP thin-film module was listed in the famous PIP list in Jan. 2011. ASP became the first Chinese PV company whose efficiency record was recognized by the list. In addition, the first fully automatic CdTe thin film module production line with an annual capacity of 25MW had been completed. The technologies and equipments that were used in this line are fully-owned intellectual properties of ASP.
  • 2012
    In Feb. 2012, only a year after construction of the line was completed, the efficiency of ASP'S 1200mmx600mm module has already reached 11.39% with an output of 74.78Wp. ASP also passed the certification of ISO9001, the module passed the certification of TUV Nord.
  • 2013
    In 2013, The efficiency of ASP'S 1200mmx600mm module reached 12.05%. ASP's products passed the certification of UL and CQC.
  • 2014
    ASP won the BLUE SKY AWARD of 2014 Global Top Ten Investment Scenarios to Apply New Technologies for Renewable Energy Utilization in Jun. 2014. ASP became the pioneer of new BIPV application field.
  • 2015
    ASP joined the 863 Program supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. ASP set up a new Joint-Venture with Soltech of Sweden to invest in the commercial distributed solar power plants in China. Both the massive production operation and marketing operations of ASP entered a much faster development phase.
  • 2016
    Shenzhen SEG Advanced Solar Power Co., Ltd. a joint venture between ASP and Shenzhen SEG Group (a state-owned enterprise) has been established. Thus, the capacity expansion in the ASP’s very own “One-body, Two-wings” plan was officially set on motion. ASP’s semi-transparent PV module and BIPV certain-wall & sunroof projects have received “The Best BIPV Architectural Components Award” from the First National Distributed PV Applications and Innovations Awards Committee. Professor Xuanzhi Wu, the Chairman of ASP, has received “Annual China Photo-voltaic Achievement Award ”. ASP was made profitable.
  • 2017
    In February, the efficiency of ASP’s CdTe cell was measured at 17.33% by National Renewable Energy Laboratory of USA which had set a new ASP’s own record. ASP has signed letters of intent with state-owned enterprises from Hubei, Shanxi provinces, in continuing the effort of CdTe thin-film module production capacity expansion. ASP and the Zhejiang Energy Group, together has carried out the ASP’s very first strategic investment plan. The uniqueness of ASP’s BIPV architectural components were rapidly recognized by customers from all over the world, and in result of that, both production and utilization of these products have been increased dramatically world-wide.
