The Hangzhou National Edition Museum was designed by Wang Shu, a professor of the China Academy of Fine Arts and the winner of China's first Pritzker Architecture Award. ASP’s cadmium telluride power generation glass is used for the sun shading corridor and lighting roof of the main hall. The installed photovoltaic power is more than 90kW, and the annual power generation is about 90000 kWh, which is equivalent to nearly 90 tons of carbon dioxide per year.
The green and humid Eastern charm and green photovoltaic power generation building materials complement each other in this new era Song style building. The slender and transparent power generation glass paired with overhanging eaves not only harmonizes with the appearance of the main hall, meets the building's lighting needs, but also continuously delivers green electricity to the venue.
